Heartland Ranch offers a variety of summer camps and activities for developmentally delayed, high risk children, and children in need of relief from summer boredom. All of our camps incorporate horses, art, hardwork, games, learning and fun for all children of all backgrounds.
The camps that we currently offer are as follows:
5-11 with developmental disabilities as well as typically developing children. Camp will run daily from
9:00 a.m-1:00 p.m. Campers will enjoy nature activities,
petting zoo, crafts, games, and therapeutic and horseback riding. All camps teach tolerance, acceptance and inclusion. Snacks &
drinks are provided. The camp schedule for Summer 2010 is
as follows:
June 7-11, 2010 Cowpoke Camp for 5-7 year olds
June 14-18, 2010 Cowpoke Camp for 8-11 year olds
July 12-16 2010 Cowpoke Camp for 8-11 year olds
July 26-30, 2010 Cowpoke Camp for 11-14 years old
offered to older children 11-22 with developmental disabilities as well as those who are typically developing. Campers will experience the outdoors on nature trails, sensory exploration with animals in a petting zoo, therapeutic and horseback riding programs and learn new and important social skills. All campers will learn about acceptance, tolerance and inclusion. The cost for this camp is $150 per child. Snacks & drinks are provided. The camp schedule for Summer 2010 is as follows: June 28-July 2, 2010 Adventure Camp for 11-14 year olds
July 5-July 9, 2010 Adventure Camp for 14-22 year olds
